Fall typically brings cooler temperatures. However, you can extend the use of your backyard patio or deck with an outdoor heater. Whether you choose an LP gas heater or an outdoor electric heater, you and your guests will appreciate the 12- to 20-foot circle of heat each of these outdoor heaters provide.

Both LP gas heaters and outdoor electric heaters come in a tall, floor-lamp version and a smaller, table-top version. These outdoor heaters are tastefully designed and easy to use. Whichever outdoor heater you select, make sure it has a safety tilt switch that automatically turns off the heater if it tips over. Continue to enjoy your evenings outside this fall with an outdoor heater to ward off the cooler temperatures!

You can’t beat fresh salmon grilled on cedar planks using your gas or charcoal barbecue grill. Soak the planks fully submerged in fresh, clean, warm water for at least 1 hour. Remove the plank from the water and brush with oil. Brush the salmon with oil or maple syrup, depending on the flavor you want, place the salmon on the cedar plank with the skin-side down, and add spices. Place the cedar planks directly on the grids of your pre-heated charcoal or gas barbecue grill and grill over medium heat for about 20 minutes, checking every 5 minutes. The planks add an earthy, sweet, subtle flavor to the salmon.

Enjoy grilled salmon anywhere with a portable gas barbecue grill.
